A “decision” is one focused design question within a single area or topic.
This typically includes:
Selecting between options (e.g. two rugs, chairs, or finishes) Confirming a direction (e.g. paint color, layout, lighting) Refining a specific element within a space
Each decision includes brief follow-up within that same scope—so we can fully land it.
Examples
“Which of these two rugs works best in this room?” “Should I go warmer or cooler with this paint color—and which one specifically?” “Does this layout feel right, or should I adjust it?”
What is not a single decision:
Multiple unrelated questions in one message. Full room or multi-room design requests. Asking about several different categories at once (e.g. rug, lighting, and artwork together).
These are treated as separate decisions.
